Santa is a
special part of childhood that adds to the magic of Christmas. On this
day, our students made a special request to Santa and we attached them to
balloons and sent them off into the sky to the North Pole, where Santa would
receive them. There is so much that children learn about Christmas. Throughout
their childhood children learn from parents and their teachers as we serve as a
model to the child of how to be human; the child learns about honesty, bravery,
love, kindness, and all the other virtues by observing. These natural
interactions are actually lessons that are long-lasting and shape the child in
profound ways.
Children learn during Christmas the importance of
giving and receiving and we learn that they give and serve and love in ways that actually teach US so
much.
Merry Christmas,
may all your wishes come true!
