Cooking with Chef Susana

Kindergarten students are working with their Project  "Restaurants". They received the visit of Chef Susana, who shared her experience as being a Chef at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel& Casino.

She explained the students the role of a chef, utensils for their work, and procedures to prepare different kinds of food. 

They worked together as chefs decorating cookies.

It was an amazing, enriching, and delicious expereince!!!

Dominican Independence 

In February we celebrate our freedom and nationality through different activities in school and outdoors. We perform activities that promote our culture and stand out most important Dominican elements. In Spanish class students were learning about Dominican heroes and their roles during the Independence movements.

These pictures below show the trip to the Colonial Zone: Puerta de la Misericordia, Puerta del Conde y Altar de la Patria.

"Teacher For A Day"

Mrs. Melissa Saladín and Mr. Luis Vargas, Sofía's parents, joined Kinder A to be our "Teachers For A Day". The children were able to enjoy and learn a lot of new things with this amazing experience. Mrs. Melissa and Mr. Luis guided and supported our students through dynamic activities during the day. They demonstrated to be  wonderful teachers too! We were glad to have them with us, sharing all the moments of our routine.

We invite all parents to come and become a Teacher for a day! :)

Kinder A Students :)

Kinder students were investigating and learning about plants. One day, we collected many leaves from the Playground's floor.  Sutdents had the chance to observe their different colors, textures, sizes, and shapes. Students were encouraged to create what they wanted with thier leaves, using their imagination.
