Fine Motor Skills-Math Activity

The development of children's fine motor skills is an important foundation for the attainment of other skills, such as, writing, drawing and self-help.

In this activity students were exposed to materials that develop fine motor skills. They used Tweezers, pompoms and and egg carton.

At the botoom of the egg carton different numbers in a random order were written. Using the tweezers students had to pick the correct amount of  pompoms and insert them in the spot of the number they chose.

This activity helped students develop attention,  mathematical skills, hand-eye coorditation and fine motor skills.
