Pizza Party at KA!

 Pizza Party at Kindergarten!

Students learn best when learning is active, when they are engaged in hands-on classroom games and activities, and involved in what they are learning.

As a part of our project we had a pizza party in Kinder A . We learned about recipes, the structure of this type of text, and how we can follow procedures in a recipe in order to have a delicious meal. 

In this case, students chose their favorite pizza toppings in a previous class, and we decided to have a party where they had the chance to follow the steps of a recipe on their own and make their favorite pizzas.

We wrote on the chart pad our own pizza recipe, we reviewed the steps that we neeed to follow and right after we put hands to work!

Children had so much fun adding their favorite ingredients and living the experience together. :)
