Play dough Insects!
Kindergartners are learning about different kinds of animals. As we have a frog as a pet, "Froggy", we started the school year exploring the world of AMPHIBIANS. Later, we worked with what amphibians mostly eat: INSECTS. We watched videos related to them and discuss about their main characteristics among others. Children were able to sort a and classify animals in these groups taking into account some of their differences and similarities.
We provide students with art craft materials , and children had the opportunity to have fun and express their knowledge through art.
